The Importance of Communication Between the Manager and the Employees

Although a manager often has a supervisory role but I think he also must have leadership. Because dealing with the coordination then the manager with his strong leadership means he has the ability to communicate better. The leadership is total commitment. While communication skill is the initial key to be succeed for a manager as a leader.

managerAs a leader, under any circumstances, a manager must begin to encourage, support, and embrace and communicate with, to and from the employees. The fact is that they are the people who have the best ideas about what actually happened. If the manager listens to employees, he will learn much more than he ever imagined. Or probably more than he knew.

When a manager listened, and when he showed understanding to the employees, they will understand that they are valued as partners in the business. A simple action from the manager, listen and communicating to its employees, it will arise the motivation and encourage the team work to think more creatively and strategically.

In order that communication can be managed effectively with the employees then these following points can be considered for the manager to be done, that are (1) choose the best way to praise the actions and behavior of the employees is that are positive and productive for the company, (2) talk shortly but clear to get their attention, and encourage the employees to think.

The Influence of Self-Management to the Quality of Work

attitude of employeesAttitude is the way of someone to respond to an object, situation or certain circumstances. Its components consists of cognitive component (reasoning), affective component (emotional) and behavioral components (habits). The process of forming the attitudes is following a certain cycle that is memory bank-attitude-new experiences new memory-new attitude and so on. Any positive or negative experiences will be stored in the memory bank (the brain) as an attitude reference in responding to the next event.

Along with the confirmation process or the repetition of this event, then it is forming an attitude with a certain mental configuration. That is why the attitude has a certain pattern which is relatively fixed, survive and unique to each individual. A simple example: The attitude of employees towards the implementation of the Quality Management System. According to the prescribed procedures, the necessity to fill out the form of Corrective Action Request (CAR) for each problem that happens, it can be perceived by the employees as an additional burden.

Moreover, before this thing arises, anytime the problem occurred, it is just simply conveyed through the telephone. The comprehension of the importance of record as the evidence of the performance, must be accepted by the reasoning (cognitive) first, might feel uncomfortable by the emotions (affective) first, before there was a change of attitude and behavior of the employee.

A Perfect Management Planning

It is not always having large capital would provide a big advantage. The management of the capital that is effective and efficient will give a maximum profit. For us, we have to make a calculation of the capital and operational costs that are needed to run the company for the next couple of years. We must be able to provide a secure budget for the operations of the company in some time to come.

So not only to secure the budget for today and tomorrow. With the existence of budget security for a long term then the company will be able to survive when experiencing problems or disasters that are sudden and not considered before. With a perfect planning and design, then the company will be prepared to face with various obstacles and problems, because those have been considered before.
