Motivation is the impulse that makes the employee to do something in such way and to achieve certain goals. There is no success in doing something, such as managing the employees, without any motivation from both managers and their employees. Managers need the skills to understand and create the conditions whereby all team members can be motivated. This is a big challenge because each employee has different characteristics and response to different situations.

Meanwhile, the condition itself including the type of problem was always changing from time to time. All of it as a prerequisite to achieve employee’s motivation that is effective which is being supported from the management environment, an atmosphere of communication, and comfortable leadership. Instead of employees who have lack of motivation can be characterized such as frequent stress, physical illness, lazy, bad working quality, lack of personal communication, and ignored with his duties.

What is the motive of an employee to be willing to work? The desire to achieve a certain position, the desire for power, and the desire for social status. While the employee wishes to actualize themselves in addition of course also to improve the welfare of himself and his family. An employee who is motivated is usually energetic and has the spirit of doing things consistently and actively seeking a role with greater responsibility. Some employees are fearless when confronted with the challenge instead of being motivated to overcome the challenge.
