Human Resource Management (HRM)

Human Resources (HR) in a business context, are people who work in an organization that is sometimes called the employee. Human Resources are the most valuable asset in the company, without the human resources company will not be able to produce profits or increase their own value.

Human Resource Management is based on a concept that every employee is a human, not a machine, and not merely a business resource. Human Resource Management is related to policies and practices that need to be implemented by the manager, about aspects of Human Resource from Working management. There is no similar definition of Human Resource Management, there are 3 (three) definitions that can be told as comparison:

- How people can be managed in the best way in the interests of the organization, Armstrong (1994).

- A method of maximizing the results of labor resources by integrating HRM into business strategy, Kenooy (1990).

- A typical approach, on the labor management that wants to achieve competitive advantage, through the development of labor strategies that are able and committed by using the order of culture that is integrated, structural and personnel techniques, Storey (1995).

From these 3 definitions can be concluded that, Human Resource Management is related to how to manage human resources, inside the organizations and the effect of environment, so that be able to contribute optimally to the achievement of the organization. In BPR Sukabumi at Sukaraja Branch, HR is a company’s assets and partners for achieving the success of each activity, quality of work and productivity of the company.

Establishment and development of the human resource is intensively, effectively and professionally planned, so that each employee will be placed in the correct position in accordance with their respective capabilities.
