Many companies are increasing their attention on the HRM (human resource management). HRM is actually an effort to integrate the personnel needs with the organization goals, so that a person able to satisfy their own needs while working for organizational goals.
Currently, the human recognition always has important position in the society, even though we still trying to create the work-oriented society. This percertion considers that working is a noble thing without ignoring the human that involved in this process. Human as a member of the organization that involved in the working process will be greatly influenced by different personalities, such as character, attitude, values, desires and interests and those will affect on his leadership behavior and also his performance.
Leadership behavior is a consistent behavior pattern that is applied by the leader through another person, namely a behavior pattern from the leader in order to influence other people, like it being percepted by other people. Behavior is not the matter of the leader’s opinion about his behavior in leading, but rather the perception of other people, especially the subordinates, about his leadership. Through the leadership behavior, a leader would transfer some values like group emphasis, support from people/employees, risk tolerance, salary criteria and so on.
On the other hand, the employees will be formed a subjective perception about the basic values that exist within the organization according to the values that want to conveyed by the leader through the leadership behavior.
