When cleaning car interior, especially the push bars, many vehicle owners do not touch the air conditioner (AC) grille. In fact, in this section “germs” are assembled and need extra attention to clean it. Tools required are mini brush (for drawing), a toothbrush, a micro fiber cloth, cotton bud, and multi-purpose cleaner (MPC) liquid called acidic degreaser. Brush is used for dirt poured on the lattice, depending on the type and thickness of the dirt. If it was dust, use a mini brush without cleaning fluid. The use of liquid degreaser also has its own rules, which must be mixed with water with a ratio of 1:8 for light dirt and 1:4 for hard dirt.
Then, the liquid should not be sprayed directly into the lattice because the droppings can actually go into the hole of the AC. It is recommended to use a cotton bud which has been sprayed to liquid or dipped in MPC. Cleaning the air conditioner grille only need a short time, it takes approximately 20 minutes, with mild conditions. If it’s too dirty with thick dust, it can take up to about 30 minutes.
Stench that came out when the AC is turned on due to the bacteria, micro-organisms, and fungus that accumulate around the grille of air conditioners, especially the grille in the dashboard. To eliminate the offending odor, clean them with anti-bacterial treatments.
